The bylaws for the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO) provide that the Board of Commissioners shall holds its Regular meetings on the last Tuesday of each month at a time and place determined by the Board. HANO should also, at least once a quarter, hold its Regular meeting at a development of the Authority. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
Unless otherwise noticed, Board meetings are held in the Helen C. Lang Memorial Boardroom, located at 4100 Touro Street, New Orleans, LA 70122. The Boardroom is in Building B of HANO’s headquarters and is accessed on the Senate Street side of the building.
The Agenda for the upcoming Board meeting, and associated resolutions, are normally posted on the website a week before the scheduled meeting. Individuals unable to access the Board materials may request a copy via email at PublicRecordsRequest@hano.org.
